Promo: re-vamp!

I can’t listen to everything.

Not every podcast is for everyone, even if you are pagan and it’s a pagan podcast. I have accepted that with my own podcast and its time to extend that reality to my itunes podcast subscriptions. I am not going to like every pagan podcast. I am going to LOVE some and giggle with excitement when a new episode comes out. I am going to just like more of them. Some are going to be just not for me, and a few I might even just HATE. I haven’t found one of those yet, but I am not saying that one doesn’t exist.

So, from here on out, I am going to stop listening to the ones I don’t care for out of gilt because they are pagan podcasts, whatever. I am going to listen to new ones, and decided if I am going to subscribe or not. And from that list in my itunes I will draw my promos. That way the promos will be for the shows I actually listen too.

That means I need to get on it, collecting those promos! And please, send me shows you like, new and old. I have tried to search out new podcasts but there are new ones all the time! Of course I can’t play promos for all of them in every show… 😉

upcoming trip and etsy store

Hi again, ok I do have a lot of updates today
I am going to be out of town next week
“outside” or “the lower 48” aka “Not in Alaska”
I am hoping to actually get a show out while I am gone (I’ll be hanging around for a few days) but I can’t promise anything.

When I get back however I am in the process of setting up an etsy site. handmade things, spell components, herbs, AK stuff… ever wanted some arctic snow water? well when it snows I’ll get you some! how about wild Alaska blueberry leaves? I’m not 100% sure on the selling things like jams and stuff so I am going to look into that more, maybe someone can help me out. I’m doing this as a way to continue my hobbies I love in the winter, and manage to support them and just get rid of all the stuff I make! I live in a small place and as much as I would love to cover the walls in masks… I don’t really have the room to make one every week! I have also been making ipod cases, little pull string bags… yarn falls…

When I get it set up I’ll put up a link and you can make suggestions as well!

A sad day for Alaska

If you liked all his politics or not Sen. Ted Stevens was Uncle Ted to Alaska. He did work hard to help Alaskans and that he did.

He died on in a plane crash last night on his way to go fishing with longtime friend and fishing buddy and former head of NASA Sean O’Keefe and his teenage son (who both survived) and several others (not yet named).

I know his family and the families of the other victims will be in my thoughts and prays and I hope they will be in yours too. Uncle Ted was loved by the red and the blue in this state and he worked hard for us, and he will be dearly missed.

We also recently lost a long time bush pilot in a crash in Denali. its been a sad few weeks for Alaska.
